About the event

General NCC Meeting

Guest speaker BRIAN HENNESSY, manager of the Maritime Institute.


Along with him, the Director of a program called "Boot Camp."  In this program, they train people with little to no boating experience.  It's a month long program where the students leave with a TWIC in hand and their MMC application fully submitted for endorsement as Ordinary Seaman, Wiper, VPDSD, and Crowd Control.  They train the students to be immediately available to the commercial vessel industry as entry level.


Bring anyone you may know that’s interested in this avenue.
